One of Will Forte’s first big breaks in show business was being hired as a writer on Late Show with David Letterman. He would also appear in the odd comedy sketch, including this one where he cuts off his own finger with scissors before stabbing Letterman in the hand. Of course, when Forte was a guest on Letterman two months ago, they pulled that clip out of the archives.
