First thing’s first: I know that this is a ham-fisted, silly movie. It’s not meant to be taken seriously, so it deserves a free pass on some of the ridiculous stuff that’s on display in this new trailer for Luc Besson’s Lucy. I get all that, but I still can’t help but think that they’re going a little bit too far on some counts. Like the whole “we only use 10% of our brain” thing. Isn’t that premise a little overplayed by now? And it’s just flat-out not true.
All that being said, I’m still going to watch this. Limitless meets Wanted meets Taken? How could I not?
