For some people, the idea of the Rolling Stones performing a cheesy jingle for Rice Krispies is probably sacrilegious. However, in 1963, the Stones were still relatively unknown and had to accept any paying gig that came their way, which is why you can hear some of their earliest music in this Rice Krispies commercial. Interestingly enough, this ad was actually referenced by Don Draper on an episode of Mad Men where his agency attempts to hire the Stones to perform a jingle for Heinz Baked Beans.
