During the 1960s, James Bond became a pop culture phenomenon and virtually everybody was doing Bond parodies. Nestle Quik even got into the act by casting a relatively unknown actor named Adam West to play a 007-style character named “Captain Q” who outsmarts a super-villain in this commercial. However, this ad pretty much helped West land the role of Batman, as the producers felt that his dry sense of humour here was the type of performance they were looking for to play the Caped Crusader in the TV series.
