This is probably the earliest existing television footage of Jimmy Fallon. In 1996, he was called on to perform some comedy sketches at the annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Labor Day Telethon. And you can’t tell it’s the mid-nineties since Fallon starts off his routine with a troll doll. He goes through a wide variety of material, including musical performances and impersonations, and does a pretty bang-on impression of Kramer from Seinfeld. Fallon obviously must have caught someone’s eye here since he would be a cast member on Saturday Night Live within two years.
