Later today, our Shouts from the Back Row podcast about summer camp movies will be posted which contains a discussion about the summer camp subplot in Addams Family Values. I haven’t watched that movie in many years, but looking back at it, I was surprised to discover that a four time-Emmy Award winning actor played the small role of the doctor who delivers the Addams baby during the opening sequence. He’s wearing a mask for most of his role, but you may still recognize the distinctive voice of David Hyde Pierce, who did this part around the exact same time Frasier first hit the airwaves.
