You may not know that Ben Stiller became a cast member and writer for Saturday Night Live in 1989, but decided to leave the show after only four episodes. At the time, Stiller had an interest in making satirical short films, but since SNL wanted him to stop, they decided to part ways. Stiller then responded by directing and starring in Elvis Stories, a 24-minute short about a tabloid which chronicles Elvis sightings. Stiller managed to get some name actors to appear in his short, including John Cusack and Mike Myers, but it also features early glimpses of Jeremy Piven and Andy Dick before they were famous.
