Back in the 1970s, the titan we now know as Hulk Hogan was just plain old Terry Bollea and the bass player for a Tampa-based rock band called Ruckus. They performed at bars which were often frequented by professional wrestlers, who eventually convinced the overly large Mr. Bollea to give the wrestling business a try and the rest is history. The Hulkster is notorious for his tall tales and has often said that his bass playing abilities were so great that he once auditioned for Metallica and the Rolling Stones, but these claims have been pretty much been debunked as bullshit. Anyway, while I was happy to find the preceding photo of Ruckus, there sadly does not seem to be any existing footage or audio of their performances. So I feel I obliged to post another clip showcasing the Hulkster’s musical, uh, talents…
