The friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family along the way.
Have I become a cranky old man? I’m not overly impressed with this trailer for Finding Dory, the belated sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo. I really enjoyed Finding Nemo when it came out, but it didn’t seem like a movie that required a sequel, and indeed, it’s been 13 years since anyone thought these characters should be in a movie. What’s more, this trailer is really just a plot synopsis. There’s barely a joke to be found. I dunno, guys.
That being said, I actually got a real pang of nostalgia seeing Dory, Marlin and Nemo all together again, and I bet this is going to look amazing in 3D.
Finding Dory comes out June 17, 2016.
