Long before he was appearing in sex tapes and winning multi-million-dollar lawsuits against Gawker, Hulk Hogan spent the early stages of his career wrestling under the name Terry “Hulk” Boulder. In 1979, Hogan/Boulder was working for the Continental Wrestling Association in Tennessee when he had his first encounter with the man who would become his greatest opponent: Andre the Giant. Eight years before they had the biggest match ever at Wrestlemania III in front 93,000 fans, Andre and the future Hulkster had themselves an arm wrestling match in a small television studio in front of less than 100 people. Ah, the good old days when fans believed wrestling was real and women would scream in legitimate horror when one of the beloved good guys got attacked!
