One of the most memorable films in the career of legendary B-movie pioneer Roger Corman is his 1959 cult classic, A Bucket of Blood, which stars the incomparable Dick Miller as Walter Paisley, a busboy who murders people and becomes a renowned artist after using their dead bodies to create sculptures. In 1995, a made-for-cable remake of A Bucket of Blood was released that starred Anthony Michael Hall as Walter Paisley and, for whatever reason, this otherwise forgettable film is a “Before They Were Stars” bonanza. At the end of this clip, you can see both David Cross and Jennifer Coolidge (who is billed in the end credits as “Stupid Girl”) in some of their earliest roles, and even though I cannot find any footage of him to post, A Bucket of Blood also features a very brief early appearance by none other than Will Ferrell in his star-making role as “Young Man”!
