Jeremy Sumpter is a young up-and-coming actor who has been performing since a very early age. His first movie role was in the film Frailty as the younger version of Matthew McConaughey’s character – a role which garnered him a Saturn award. He went on to play parts in Just a Dream and Local Boys before earning the starring role in the 2002 big-screen adaptation of Peter Pan, winning another Saturn award and a Young Artist Award in the process. In 2004 he starred in the TV series Clubhouse and the Lifetime Channel movie Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life. Then in 2005 he film The Sasquatch Gang, also known as The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, which I consider to be one of the best comedies of the past decade. Seriously, if you haven’t seen it, look into it. Sumpter has also appeared on the TV series CSI: Miami and Friday Night Lights. He turns 23 today.
