Here’s a man who’s had an interesting life! Randall “Tex” Cobb began his career as a professional heavyweight division boxer and amateur kickboxer in 1975, winning over 50 matches between the two sports, and was knocked out only once in his entire career. In the late 1970s, Cobb also took up acting and began to make a name for himself as a character actor who specialized in playing heavies. Cobb has appeared in such films as The Golden Child, Raising Arizona, Fletch Lives, Blind Fury, Ernest Goes to Jail, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. I love that this guy is not only a decent actor, but he clearly also has a sense of humour about the projects he chooses. Randall “Tex” Cobb turns 63 today.
