Kurt Russell was a very busy actor during his childhood, but his first official film appearance came at the age of 11 when he kicked none other than Elvis Presley himself in the shins in the 1963 film, It Happened at the World’s Fair. Appropriately enough, Russell would have the first of his five collaborations with John Carpenter 16 years later when he played the title role in Carpenter’s 1979 made-for-TV biopic, Elvis.
