We have a gift.

But do we really have a gift? I feel like the reboot/remake-quel of Ghostbusters is a tainted property at this point. Everybody is apparently up in arms about it, with the first trailer being the most disliked movie trailer on Youtube. And the conversation about it is stifled by both sides, with misogynistic douchebags hating on the all-female cast and feminist extremism claiming that if you don’t like it, it’s because you’re sexist. The funny thing, though, is that I haven’t personally witnessed either of these opinions. Mostly I’ve just seen people in my situation, who don’t think this movie looks particularly good, but are afraid to say so for fear of repercussions from the angry intenet. So allow me to put on my tinfoil hat and suggest that the marketing division for Ghostbusters may be manipulating us all. But the movie still doesn’t look very good.

Ghostbusters comes out July 15, 2016.
